Thus our query "what is the self" remains as elusive as it is profound. We are confident language doesn't prevent us from making claims about it, and we have hints of its nature. Yet the question seems to invite evermore analysis and reflection, evading a satisfactory conclusion. Though, we do feel we have a more nuanced understanding than we set out with. And so we have learned, despite not being able to make hard claims.
